Yes, completely. Posting a project, reviewing contractor profiles and shortlisting are all free, and there is no commission on the work you agree. Constructive is paid by contractors, and only when you shortlist one.

Up to three on smaller projects, and exactly three on projects of AED 50,000 or more. The limit is deliberate. It keeps the number of site visits manageable for you, and it means the contractors quoting know they have a real chance of winning the work rather than being one of ten.

We check that each contractor holds a valid UAE trade licence and current liability insurance, that their company details are accurate, and that their portfolio represents genuine completed work. We review the documents and contact references. Verification is not a guarantee of workmanship, timeliness or price — Constructive is not a party to your contract, does not supervise or inspect works, and does not warrant the outcome of any project.

Not as a single downloadable document. Contractors visit the site and quote in their own format, directly to you. On projects of AED 50,000 or more you also receive a category-level breakdown on the platform, so you can compare responses like with like rather than trying to reconcile four differently-structured documents.

Residential renovation and improvement work in Dubai — kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, joinery, electrical, plumbing, full fit-outs and the trades in between. Projects under AED 10,000 are pointed to the contractor directory for direct contact instead, because the shortlisting process adds more friction than value at that size.

Not in the initial release. Messaging is not part of what we are launching with. Once you shortlist a contractor, they contact you directly to arrange a site visit.

Yes. Every verified contractor has a portfolio of at least five completed projects with photographs, and their profile shows the communities and property types they work in most often.

No. We do not rank, score or recommend anyone. You see verified contractors whose services and coverage areas match your project, and you choose for yourself.

No. Your project brief is what contractors see — the scope, the community, your timeline and your budget band. Your name and contact details are not published, and are shared only with the contractors you choose to shortlist.

Reviews and ratings are not part of the initial release, so there are none on the platform yet. We would rather show you a contractor's verified licence, insurance and portfolio than a score with nothing behind it.

Yes. Creating an account, completing verification and building your profile cost nothing, and there is no subscription. You pay a single fee only when a homeowner shortlists you for a specific project.

One fee, charged to contractors only when a homeowner shortlists them. It is set by the project's value band: AED 120 for projects from AED 10,000 to AED 50,000, AED 250 up to AED 150,000, AED 450 up to AED 500,000, and AED 750 above that. No subscription, no commission on the work, and nothing to pay for expressing interest.

A valid UAE trade licence, and a liability insurance certificate showing at least AED 1,000,000 of cover with at least three months remaining. Documents are held in private storage, are never visible to homeowners, and are rechecked as they approach expiry.

At least five completed projects, and up to ten. Each needs photographs and a short description of the work. This is the longest part of onboarding, so it is worth setting aside proper time for it rather than rushing five entries.

Projects matching your services and coverage areas appear in your dashboard, and homeowners can also invite you directly from the contractor directory. Nothing is assigned to you and nothing is automatic.

Entirely. You see projects in the categories and areas you have chosen, and you respond only to the ones you want. There is no penalty for passing on work, and no obligation to maintain a response rate.

No. You choose the areas you cover and you will only see projects within them. Community experience is shown on your profile because homeowners often look for it, but it is not a condition of joining.

Once your verification is approved and we open to homeowners in your areas. Contractors who complete verification before then are live from the first day rather than joining a directory that has already filled out.

Your verification is completed before homeowners arrive, so your profile is live from day one. You also carry a Newly Verified badge for your first 90 days, and you help shape how the platform works before the process hardens.

We are onboarding contractors and homeowners now, and will open to live projects once there is enough verified coverage across Dubai communities for homeowners to have a genuine choice. Rather than commit to a date we would rather hit the standard — join the list and we will tell you directly.
